Description
Our apple lumpwood, 5kg bags by the pallet: 100, 72, 50 or 25 bags. Large chunks of single-species applewood charcoal that light fast, burn hot and add a sweet, fruity wood flavour. The 5kg bag suits shop shelves, farm shops and kitchens that want flavour fuel alongside their main charcoal.

How kitchens use it
Apple is a flavour lumpwood. Light it on its own for quick, hot cooks, or together with birch or oak to add fruit-wood flavour. For long restaurant services, light it together with HazelHex briquettes: HazelHex acts as the powerbase, and the apple is there for extra heat and to add flavour. Want to test it first? Delivery and storage
Pallets are delivered by pallet network to your door. Standard trade delivery is 2–3 working days, so reorder when you are down to about a week's stock. Store bags off the floor and under cover: charcoal picks up moisture from damp floors, and damp charcoal lights slower and burns cooler.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?
We dispatch most orders within 24 hours. UK parcel deliveries usually arrive within 2-3 working days, and pallet deliveries typically arrive within 2-3 working days.
DO YOU SHIP TO THE EU?
Yes — we ship to selected EU countries. Available delivery options and live shipping rates are shown at checkout once you enter your address.
HOW ARE VAT, DUTIES, AND IMPORT CHARGES HANDLED FOR EU ORDERS?
For qualifying EU orders, VAT is collected at checkout and your commercial invoice is prepared for customs clearance. Where the order is processed under the IOSS scheme, no additional VAT should be due at import. We prepare our invoices on a DDP basis, but if a courier or local customs office requests anything further, contact support@globaltic.co.uk straight away and we will help resolve it.
HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once an order is dispatched you will receive tracking details by email, and where supported by the courier, by text message as well.
RETURNS
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email support@globaltic.co.uk with your order number and a quick photo. We will arrange a replacement or refund where the claim is valid. Full details are available in our Refund Policy.
UK DELIVERY COVERAGE
We deliver to most of mainland UK, including England, Wales, and Scotland. We do not currently accept individual orders from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.
