I completed a trial run on a turkey prior to Christmas on my Webber smoker a couple of weeks ago. I’m very impressed with the length of burn and clean smoke, I will definitely be using for the big day.
Top quality product, great customer service. Burns clean and for long periods on my BGE
Fantastic stuff , this will be my 3 sack now
I've been using Haxelhex for a couple of years now, firstly out of intrigue for a new product, but now form part of our essential fuel tactics.
We cater a lot of bbq events specialising in live fire experiences with large open BBQ's. The hazelhex we use as a base for the fire, offering a layer of insurance ensuring the base of the firepits have an extremely high temperature to build on that will help to ignite anything that then goes on top of them. So for 8-10 hours of grilling, a hazelhex foundation, lumpwood on top and fire for effect and flavour.
We also use a number of japanese konro's and the hazelhex offer an incredibly high heat and long burn with minimal flare ups. They can take a while to get hot, but trust me, once they start releasing their energy, they provide extremely high heat for many hours
Good quality, fresh and aromatic
