We launched Globaltic in the UK in May 2020, our initial plan was to operate at wholesale only. When we arrived in the UK, we were blown away by the vibrant, supportive and growing BBQ community, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to support such incredible people by fuelling their passion for live fire cooking!
We built an e-commerce website and began supplying people from all over the country. It has served us well but we felt it was time to make a greater statement on the UK market.
In our constant strive for top quality service, we wanted to become more efficient with core values of our brand. Reliable delivery, dedicated customer service and the ultimate in a one stop shop for Globaltic product convenience. And so the birth of our brand new site specifically designed for the UK market. It was the least we could do to give back to the incredible community that have supported us so well.
Globaltic is so much more than a charcoal production company with fantastic firewood, grills and live fire cooking tools. We are a team of passionate BBQ lovers and we want to share that love with as many people as possible.
We have made incredible friends and partners all over the UK, who share our core values and strive for impeccable quality, commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement in every aspect. We have great collaborations planned with some of the best names of the industry.

As briefly mentioned above, the key improvements lie at the backend:
- From now on we are using a new courier - DPD for all our shipments. This will not only ensure shorter delivery times but also more careful handling of our goods. We know the disappointment you get when opening a bag of charcoal and it is full of shrapnel, simply because it was beaten up in transit. We hope to reduce this issue both with switching to DPD and introducing an option for boxed packaging for shipment.
In short, a lot less issues like this:
Another key idea we implemented is your individual feed. For example, we have excellent aprons, but if you prefer cooking naked, you won't see much of those. This is done by AI in full compliance with GDPR and you can opt-out at any time.
It is time to earn some Lumps! This is the name for our all-new loyalty program. What is common for your birthday, Christmas, a recommendation to a friend or a regular order? All these give you Lumps to spend on all of our range!
We have expanded and reorganised our customer care team to make it more efficient and quick. Some simple queries will be dealt with in minutes due to AI macros, while the rest will take 48 hours max.
