Hazelhex
I've been using Haxelhex for a couple of years now, firstly out of intrigue for a new product, but now form part of our essential fuel tactics.
We cater a lot of bbq events specialising in live fire experiences with large open BBQ's. The hazelhex we use as a base for the fire, offering a layer of insurance ensuring the base of the firepits have an extremely high temperature to build on that will help to ignite anything that then goes on top of them. So for 8-10 hours of grilling, a hazelhex foundation, lumpwood on top and fire for effect and flavour.
We also use a number of japanese konro's and the hazelhex offer an incredibly high heat and long burn with minimal flare ups. They can take a while to get hot, but trust me, once they start releasing their energy, they provide extremely high heat for many hours
